Spoilers can’t change the fact that the ML still fooled the FL and abandoned her after his mission ended. He didn’t even bother to find out how she was, even though it was all fake. It was still two years of being married together, but the ML treated it as if it was just a one-time fake drama and the FL was just an emotionless object that couldn’t be hurt. Eighty percent of the story is about the FL being miserable over and over again because of the ML. That’s why the ML really annoys me. The majority of readers are whitewashing the ML by using the past and the excuse that he just wanted to protect her and fooling her was just part of it. Wow, what a nice excuse. Then the author uses “smut” and “action” to make the romance seem better and whitewashes the ML even more.

I read spoilers on this. I’m still confused, though my statement may not be accurate. “So he regrets it at the end and still ends up with her because of his main male lead halo.”☺️
This is just my emotional thought. I still really don’t know what’s going on, lol.
I don’t understand 70% of these spoilers (but still thank you). So he regrets it and still ends up being with her, that’s all? What’s the point of all the drama? (I know it’s actually natural because of course he is the main male lead.) But it’s still kind of disappointing and unsatisfying that she still ends up with him. I mean, she became miserable after being scammed by the fake guy and being thrown away when she was no longer useful, which is a bit off. And again, the female lead was miserable while looking for her fake husband and again miserable during the trainings, even her past is sad. I really can’t accept that she forgives the male lead that easily. I really can’t, and she still ends up with him. Gosh, I really can’t take it.
