Its literally a betrayal, its understandable why she stopped writing and their friendship stopped. Jia’s intention is genuine, but sadly doing it like this will make the other person feel like belittled. In fact hearing corrections from your editor is bad enough, but hearing it from a friend you feel inferior to, feels like betrayal.

Damn, i guess this is where her will to write stop. People ithat say that slap are harsh never knew how your work are look down upon passively by talented people. Kinda like having a friend who only need to see the book once to get an A comparer to you that need a month all nighter just to pass just shrugingly say “do better” lol.
