It’s not that bad. It’s a very classical beginning where the character starts a life at the lowest point and has to use the novel’s information to find happiness (or just not die).
Perhaps you just need to change the genre you’re reading? Slice-of-life stories often feature a much lighter-hearted tone, so maybe try that out.

sad background is used in every midia so this one is ok for now, 1 chapter here is too little to judge as long as ml doesn’t become obsessive it is ok for me

They always have to add a crazy sad background story for these characters so they can get sympathy it’s soo annoying like why can’t they make a normal manhwa story without these stuff there always the same even there mls look similar sometimes even though they don’t need one it’s so dumb dropping this hopefully they don’t continue this weird story😐.
