Children also have emotions and feelings.
FL said “it’s a crush”. “A crush” is different from “falling in love”.
Children’s crush are very simple, direct and pure.
They genuinely enjoys someone’s company and feel connected to a specific person more than with anyone else. That’s it.
I taught children aged 5-7 in a hobby class. They sometimes told me they had a crush on another child in class. That’s simply adorable. Nothing complicated.

The fl is getting annoying thinking 7 year olds are going to fall in love geez. Stop pushing what you think should be happening just because the settings are in a book. Things are obviously changing away from what the book had.
