I don’t think she should go with him, I think Anette needs to go away from everyone for a while and focus on her own happiness and health. I know that he has good enough intention to help her, but I find his hesitation when she asked is a bit off and making him holding something out, like he has another agenda.
I want Anette to be happy and free from guilt and the burden she’s carrying, and I don’t care about ML. He can go to hell.
