Was his life terrible? Yes. Her dad did ruin people’s life while she knew nothing about it that what good parents do,shelter their offspring from the real world. Her father was a bad man,not her. I don’t usually trash on the ml’s and mc’s, but this is my exception. We don’t need a pity story from him- he purposefully made her miserable and come to the point of wanting to kill herself- why should we pity or sympathize with a person who actively manipulated and tormented a girl and tricked her into loving him so that he could ruin her life and kill her family?

Seriously he’s still blaming her for his inferiority complex? She didn’t point a gun at you saying “you gotta kill and be a higher status to marry me” Even if he was Great Gatsby and she was that materialistic she still wouldn’t marry him. FL was a lil spoiled in the past since she was like a freaking PRINCESS.
