People who keep on shitting on him especially in previous chapters for the way he treated her eventually are really unrealistic. You think going through hell and back for someone who doesn’t even know you exist, when you didn’t even have an easy life before that to begin with, is really going to turn out ok and healthy and rose for anyone? The guy has tons of issues, he’s a victim of fate and acts realistic to how a survivor of all hw went through would act like. You can’t harden yourself to survive and then be expected to act like a soft cute nice angel teddy bear. Yeah she didn’t deserve it either for sure, but rather than blaming and hating him for bringing her to misery too, why don’t you realize that treating different categories from society bad can eventually affect even those who have it the best in life lile Annette was? We tend to look down on and avoid beggers, homeless, orphans, etc, but we don’t realize that they can easily harm us if they really wanted (which actually happens often) because they don’t even have anything to lose since their lives are already pretty damn miserable and without much prospects for thw future. The message here should be about how dividing people based on their current position and life situations is bad and ends up affecting the ones at top too contrary to what those at top tend to believe.

I personally feel like Heiner and Annette are two types of people who behave when they don’t have anyone to live for. Heiner is the type to turn in their survival instincts to at least save his life while Annette is the type to endure all pain and reach the breaking point without her own consciousness. Heiner found Annette to be the light to his darkness, but Heiner took all Annette’s light that she was left nothing. Nothing at all

aight like I get this dude went through some ish but why should i truly feel bad for this character or pity him? For a man who was pushing therapy on his wife, who he degraded and abused, he should have taken his own advice. The only thing she did wrong was being born to a ruthless leader and was given a good life, being shielded from the truth. There were so many ways to go about treating her but no, he was petty and just abuses her? F him. F anyone who is like “I had a bad life so let me abuse my partner”.

Just like some of you I really feel bad and pity his past- the fact that he has to endure this things which are INHUMAN- nah I was really concerned- but your little over present. Self was even more horrible- the women who you wished to see even in you death bed- you abuse her mentally? What is this? How did she get into that? She wasn’t the reason why you got your past?
