I’ll say my thoughts about things…
During the marriage, she was distressed because of what happened to her family, and knowing how her dad “trained” children to send them to inhumane missions. Her husband who used to be so in love with her is now distant, and verbally, emotionally, and mentally abusing her.
One thing that I hate about how Heiner acted during their marriage, until now, is how he would push Annette away and then do things that would make her think that there might be a chance to reconcile. People who were once in this kind of relationship know how fucked up this is.
I do understand where Heiner is coming from but it doesn’t justify his actions.
Annette is a standard ignorant noblewoman. I hated how she was so unaware of the world outside her bubble but I liked her character development after their divorce.
Some chapters ago, Annette said that she was wrong about how she didn’t ask Heiner about the time when he was under her father’s command. I don’t think she’s wrong. Why would she even ask the person who almost drove her to death how his mental health was?
When they were processing the divorce, Heiner agreed to it as long as Annette promised not to harm herself again. After the separation, isn’t it natural for them not to interfere with each other? Especially if he almost drove Annette to death. For sure, he knows how threatened and anxious Annette is in his presence. And yet there are numerous times when Heiner approached her. STFU it’s not called longing, it’s an obsession.
IN CONCLUSION, I’M HEINER’S HATER. LEAVE MY GIRL ALONE BASTARD. SHE’S DOING SO WELL ALREADY, SHE MADE FRIENDS IN THE FRONTLINE YET YOU MOVED HER, YOU FUCKER.

I just really want him to realize that he really loves her and she’s important, but he still doesn’t know his own feelings or he doesn’t know what love. Soon, he will regret hurting her, but it’s already too late. For her, I want to see her smile and happy. I still want them to be together at the end 😁.

Im sorry but what Anette said its true. She never once asked how he was doing nor what he went through on her dad island. I understand that can be not in her business but at the moment they married, it was. I refuse to believe that she was clueless on what her dad job was, like the chapter where he told his story that he was the only survivor when they were hostages and heavily tortured only for her to smile and wish them rip, like how after that she never asked or mentioned anything else to even understand his pain. Im not taking his side but my man was also misunderstood since beginning and he wasn’t heard enough to feel confident with her. She is not the only victim here and i refuse to make her one, she could’ve changed something but she didnt, she could’ve been there for her whole husband but she only focused on pretty words. Come at me for my opinion idgaf. Yes hes creating those scenarios because he did loved her and still does. All the shyt he did to her is hard to move on from but i wish they could just talk and say what they really feel instead of just running away from each other.
