i feel bad for him 😭 he had to go through so much, watched his friends die and countless people die in the war.. buddy is traumatized after watching his ex wife try to unalive herself. he’s angry because she changed but AFTER she left him.. honestly, i would be too. these characters are so real.. because normal (broken) people do the same

I know they end up together and I’m reading this just to find out how the author will redeem him, but boy!
He is NOT doing a good job. My hatred and disgust for him is growing by the day, and his attitude is squashing any sympathy I had for him.
Seeing him freaking out at the end of this chapter made me hope that anette will try to kill herself once more, to traumatise him so much that he will go and die in a ditch somewhere.
He is turning me into a terrible person, so I can just imagine how much worse it was for Anette
