I personally really like the story and the characters or rather the way they are written so far. I don’t understand why people always think stories have to have a happy ending or even an ounce of happiness in it to be good. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think it’s enjoyable to read ppl suffering, but rather the different emotions one experiences while reading.

Lies, manipulation, mistreatment, emotional abuse, and even attempted murder… This is clearly a very difficult story to read. The male lead is definitely not a likeable character, and of course, despite everything, we expect that ending where the heroine forgives him. However, I admit that I only read this story for the part where the male lead suffers, and I will stop after that. There is far too much toxicity in this relationship to allow for any kind of forgiveness. He has crossed the point of no return, and I cannot accept that she could still forgive him, no matter how much she loves him.
