   My review after reading up to ch. 37:
   I love redemption style stories a lot but there is a line that separated redeemable and irredeemable that cant be crossed when writing a romance. This story said fuck that line and sprinted across it. I understand the desire to make lead characters semi-toxic or harmful to each other to set up for character development and change, but the when its taken too far, no reader would ever want to root for those characters. For this story, the ML has already been thrown into the category of irredeemable.

   This story is playing really hard on readers feeling pity for the ML to force an opening for his redemption but its not enough. I cant currently see a way to write the story to make me root for his comeback. He has a very pitiful backstory to the point that made my heart wretch but his actions and behavior to the FL were to far for a romance story.

   Additionally, writers love to introduce side MLs that are 1000 times better than the ML who always lose to the ML. The sub ML appeared in the latest chapter (ch.37) and i can already tell that hes going to lose.

   Sorry but this story is just not for me

   I don’t think I can consider the ML a ML more like a villan and I am really wishing he reap what he sowed and I hope she can find her peace with real love and not obsession. Nothing can make me like the ML because honestly the fact that he blames her for his obsession ick

   Finally the FL appears, honestly I didn’t like how they try to justify the ML actions, because she didn’t commit a crime against anyone, she just born into that family, I the FL find her happiness away from this twisted ML.

    Edit: Y’all should stop bashing the ml. Not EVERYONE is the same. Not every STORY is the same. I agree that he isn’t the best at handling situations but y’all should actually imagine yourself in his shoes and I’m VERY sure y’all would do even worse. I, personally, don’t hate the ml and I never did. He did do regrettable things but can y’all calm down and wait for the story to cook?! Not every story is roses and sunshine.

    I’m so fed up with all the stupid comments “i don’t like the male lead” bla bla bla. This is a FICTIONAL story, got it? Writing, painting, song writing, etc,all forms of art are supposed to be: limitless for the Artist. So everytime that a MANHWA is critiqued because the audience doesn’t like the characters or the plot you are KILLING the artist form of expression and the possibility to have different type of manhwas to enjoy other than “reincarnation, back in time- soft love story.” Art imitates life as well and believe me their are marriages with worst love stories through our history that had kids and remain. If this story ends because you simply hate on the male lead, fuck you all. Why don’t you go and read I failed to divorce my husband (which is a great manhwa but definitely lighter than this one) or something like that instead of this if you think is just “too much to bear”. We don’t even know yet what’s going to happen with them, we are just learning the ML past and you are already make a fuss. And what if they end up together? Let the writer write the story whatever the fuck she/he wants. It’s fiction, you are supposed to be able to make it however you want! This type of stories (Bastian, behind the laughter of the surviving princess, dreaming freedom, how to win my husband over, etc) are going to end. I don’t know if you are ten or you think life is pink and pretty but not everything can go the righteousness way that you want, so let the authors write stories like this without interfering with your bs option. There are stories with ml and fl with and age gap of 40/30 years that are clearly pedo and are not been as cancelled as this one.
