There are at least a few reasons the emperor might want to find her, including that they found that she had gone to the cabin again (and taken things!), or for punishment for hurting the og FL. She could have some value in political marriages as well that would warrant recapturing. As for the maid that would reveal the truth, I think that came a bit later in the original timeline (only after the final drowning).

Bruh the comments are HEATED, though I personally don’t see why they’d look for her, she’s hated by literally everyone (don’t even dispute this because she’s barely fed) even if she can talk about her life as the pretend prince, not like anyone would believe her. I’m surprised they even noticed she left. I mean there was the maid bringing food, but she’d probably couldn’t care less if she didn’t have to directly hand it to her. The raccoons and birds could of ate it if it was only silently left on the doorstep everyday. I’m more curious as why they are even bothering looking for her since they all hate “Iris’s daughter”, being a beggar or prisoner in the dungeon is better than living under their ignorant butts.
