The duke is likely the ML and I am waiting to see how the author will manage their love story. He has power and wealth in his world but he is so lonely, while she has friends and family. If they end together it will probably be him who will manage somehow to stay or come back with his real body.

Just based on the first chapter I am 95% sure he likes her too he was talking about asking her out , I think the other was just giving him advice about how to ask her out that’s why he was blushing , there is no way the story concludes with her and the duke together while he is in her friends body ,she will get her friend back , and he is gonna confess his love.
