Yes, she is exactly right. Someone who harbors love for you should NEVER put their hands on you. And if you are in/where in an abusive relationship, just know IT WAS NEVER AND IS NEVER YOUR FAULT!! You have done nothing wrong. No person deserves to be abused and someone tells you that it was your fault or that you probably did something to deserve it. FUCK THEM.
