I agree, he should’ve stayed a commoner. Why do authors always have the need to turn them into nobles ☹️

There are so many indescrepencies. Ishael called him Duke, but the fact that he is the Duke of Castia is not kown to the public. To the public he is Dylan, the genius knight who was given a position among the Emperor’s guard despite being a commoner. Only the Emperor and the Duke of Savoy, who is the Magic Tower Master, knows that Dylan is the Duke of Castia. Also Ishael is the Duke of Savoy’s lost granddaughter.
