For context: it seems the former emperor hated ML because he’s an illegitimate child, AND he passed that fxcking “family law” that allows MC’s family to take advantage of her. If that law didn’t exist, MC could probably just leave her family without having to marry or go through this entire process. So yes, I fxcking hate that dead bast*rd fxcker.
