That one flashback where the Johannes saw Michael dangerously smiling at him when he was in bed definitely adds to the possibility, @/Dr-_infinity-. It’s also a definitive possibility that Johannes was in the carriage with Michael and ended up surviving, or Michael ended up surviving but decided to live as Johannes. But, this is all just a theory of course.
