I’ve always found the habit to which authors create ML’S family members to be overly protective of average FLs quiet annoying, like who actually does that? And this story is a good example of it. Like they love making people step on so-called potential trashy MLs. I am glad at least, they put the FL to ‘retaliate’ against this ill-placed plot milestone and point out how they are unfair with their judgement of him.
