Sorry for the rant but this story just infuriates me into next level. If you want to read this, turn off any logic in your brain because there isn’t any here. I forced myself through 28 chapters for the story, but I think I lost most of my brain cells in the process.
I can’t remember the last time I hated an MC and ML as much as I do in this story. The MC is an absolute Mary Sue. She’s dumb, emotionally unstable, and incapable of properly talking back to people, yet everyone calls her a genius. As a young duchess, she has countless enemies, but when something bad happens, she doesn’t investigate because obviously the culprit is X. Why? She’s never met him, but the novel said he’s bad, so he must hate her too.
A mysterious guy in a cape with silver hair? Easy, it’s definitely the silver-haired guy from the novel, no investigation needed. Weak body? Who needs exercise, let’s just head straight into a super dangerous place anyway! Oh no, so many bad guys, what to do? Never mind, plot armour #1 saves the day. An incident that didn’t happen in the novel? Well, plot armour #2 conveniently reveals all the culprits, and now other people are indebted to genius MC. Another dangerous situation? Sure, let’s dive right in! Oh no, things went awry, but plot armour #3 swoops in to save her, and suddenly she’s so cool (she has powers what nobody else ever had, woo!). People are impressed that she employed two picky mages? Duh, she just picked them off the street, easy peasy.
And then there’s the ML. He’s equally awful. He doesn’t care about the MC at all, he only wants her divine sword. His entire personality revolves around asking for her hand in marriage, flirting with her, threatening her, and refusing to leave her alone. Somehow, MC even calls him more hardworking than she is, even though all he does is exist to ruin her day.
To top it off, in the novel, he kills the MC and many others, wrecks the country, becomes a tyrant, and abuses MC’s sister. The MC knows he’s bad and is scared of him, yet she still goes blush blush whenever he flirts with her. And when he succeeds, he gives an evil smirk to remind the readers he doesn’t care about her. But don’t worry! He’s cursed, so eventually, the author will justify all his actions, and everyone will live happily ever after. yayy …

It is such a good story (currently chapter 28), however like the other manhwas that are sourced from LUACOMIC, The quality has severely dropped since chapter 17? I think. With all the recent chapters being very just bad quality. I just hope the quality gets better since the manhwa is really nice.
For the story its good and its not cliché like the others, it has a nice twist and story about constellations; unlike other stories with the same world building, it has a immersive (kinda) and also understandable appeal to it that I’ve come to really like.
