Nah you’re justified. MCs in these webtoons are as dumb as bricks. They could be in obvious and easily avoidable situations and be like “How could this happen?! Oh no!”. The ‘villains’ literally only hate her because she’s too stupid to realize that letting the ML flirt with creates the image that they are close.

Sigh, the overly smart MC strikes again. As if silver-haired people can only come from one place and noble status. There could have been an old secret force knight or an escort of a visiting noble patrolling the area and killing off a suspicious guy. It could have been someone with bleached hair, or even someone with platinum blonde hair that looked silver in the moonlight. But nooo, MC instantly knows who it is with 100% certainty and without a single second guess.
Also, if she knows the princess wants to get rid of her, why doesn’t she just ask for the princess’s help to quit that place? It’s better not to anger your enemies but to find compromises. MC doesn’t even talk back to any of them. She just stares and has a long inner monologue instead of explaining how much she hates the prince and how awfully overworked she is.
And MC, why the hell are you blushing at the guy you know is totally unhinged and only wants to steal a relic from you?
and why has she never asked the bird about her sister, even though she claims to love her? Is MC’s character getting worse with each chapter, or am I just going insane?
