ok, i don’t understand why he’s being so…. stupid. hear me out. he’s upset she doesn’t like him, but from her standpoint and ignoring the time travel/regression, if you were forced to marry someone you didn’t know but was described as ruthless to prevent a war, are you just going to like them right off the bat?? regardless if he’s a slave or not. anyone would have negative perceptions. does he think the trees told her about his ‘true self’ or something
