I’m sorry, but I have a problem with this story. When you stop and think about it, she would’ve had tunnel vision from running for her life. If anyone has experienced this, they know what I’m talking about. There’s no way she would’ve seen a cat, let alone have time to think about it and save it.
What should’ve happened; the FL stopped and talked to the cat. It would give her time to breathe and step away from the tunnel vision. Then the cat gets spooked by her and runs into the street. She saves the cat but gets by a car with both evil villains in it.
Which makes more sense to me! But what do I know…
