Read manhwa Necromancer’s Evolutionary Traits
Makoto Kaneshiro, a former member of the Special Forces, had been spending his days engrossed in video games while struggling to find his place back into society.
Suddenly, he receives an unexpected phone call. “Makoto Kaneshiro, is that you?” The caller possesses detailed knowledge of Makoto’s personal information and gaming habits.
Caught off guard, Makoto attempts to shut down his computer, but… to his dismay, he discovers the same situation repeating itself, again and again.

I really enjoy this series a lot. The main character, having lived through so much in the outside world, is transported into a game as a minor villain who is supposed to be killed off early on—a situation that would take a toll on anyone. However, not this guy. He uses his knowledge of the game to get stronger and survives. He also forms close friendships, which makes you care for him and cheer him on no matter what.
I love how there is a subtle romance between the MC and one of the female leads. It may be one-sided, but it’s handled in a way that doesn’t make the MC seem cringe-worthy or overly ignorant. The art is cool and unique, and the pacing is fine.
There are some critiques, though. The villains don’t really matter since they’re usually defeated quickly by the MC, making the fight scenes short and not impactful. As a result, you often forget about the villains right after the battle.
Overall, this is a really good series, and I would highly recommend it.
