I’m sure (hoping and praying) that this is just a ploy to make haeryun realize that she got other options (although one of those options is definitely not her cousin) and doesn’t necessarily have to be loyal to him only. she may be his destined one but he is by no means her destined one and she can avoid her destiny as she pleases, so he’ll have to actively work to get her to like him (which is a herculean feat at this point tbh 😭😭)
