Formidable
As a reader of the novel, i really really hate the manwha adaption of this chapter…. I know that the original novel is rewritten from a rated 19 to a 15, so the more horrible scenes are omitted, but come on, they are now changing even the facts…
First of all, that scene with Chipo never happened, so if you feel uncomfortable that Ed left Chipo behind to vent for herself (in the novel Chipo is portrait as a man?) it’s thanks to the manwha.
second, the scene with Marusha and her mother was way more heart breaking. Marusha was actually desperately dragging her mothers dead body in order to hide it…. so she knew full well wat happened.
Third, the priest died in front of them, so it wasn’t something that he heard about in passing.
Forth, the Ed never asked his grandpa to sent help as he barely managed sneaked onboard with Marusha before it set sail. So they also werent able to rescue any other members of the tribe. It now makes it seem that due to Ed neglect, the other members died? that’s not true. All the members died while being enslaved, the bodies Ed did autopsy on, were collected after they died… Chipo was one of them, the scene was heart breaking.
also that scene around that round table with his grandpa never happened… Sesbron is the capital, not Roahn…
I can go on and on about what changed compared to the novel and its making me sad, this story has so much potential and they’re completely butchering it….
it can advise everyone who has any interest in the story, to also read the novel, it worth it.
