There’s seems to be a bunch of information missing. Last I read of her grandma she was taken to her hometown and then the time jump but turns out there’s so much more we missed.

@Krimshaw: Thx for the details buddy! Seems like this manhwa is really skipping a lot of stuff.

This version isn’t going into the same detail as the novel which is a shame and it’s telling the story out of sequence. The “warriors” have severe inferiority because they wouldn’t have been warriors at all without Cornelia. Also not mentioned is how Cornelia’s grandmother travelled with them in spite of her failing health. Without those two they wouldn’t have made it to the rare. Also the Duke was an ass to her, first insisting that she come to the capital then locking her away and refusing to see her. It was a complete wipe of everything she did and even her own identity. On her deathbed the grandmother asks to see the warriors over and over but they never come. Cornelia has to cope with everything on her own. Then they deliver condolences afterwards along with this offer. In the novel they don’t want her to leave the capital because then she’d move outside their control and someone would find out they aren’t warriors at all.

What is wrong with these people? She helped stop a dragon so literally stab her in the back all because she’s a commoner. Bastards
