The pacing of this story was weird. Marriage was fast but then they spent time “getting to know each other” too long. The kidnapping arc was shorter than that.
Also, MC’s family basically got off scot free. Only the stepmother was punished, but the father was culpable as well, and that younger brother is a little sh*t who deserves punishment.
This was an unsatisfying story. Luckily it wasn’t at the top of my list so my disappointment is minimal.
