@darknezz96, please read history about how islam govern a country. Islam never forced others religions to follow Islam rule. And why did you mention Islam as example, i read many manhwa and it always said church being devil, not mosque😑😑.
@animelover you know. This is exactly why The State and Religion should be seperate. When Religion becomes The State, it becoms a chaotic mess that does not fuction under democtratic logic. I am not of an Abrahamic religion myself, but imagine if a country was governed by Islam. There would be no bank loans and there would be no liquor. There would be no people dating each other and it would be alright to kill anything that is not a pig, as long as it is purified. The Sharia system that used to exist in the Gulf is just a tiny fraction of a religious state. Imagine, Islam preches that all other religions are infidels. Imagine if by chance they hear some sort of revoloutionary idea that goes against their doctraine. Since it is an Islamic State, they would wage war saying that it is heresy that such a thing exists. I am by no means saying that islam is a bad religion, but at the same time, it is much stricter than other religions. Imagine if those parameters were given political power? Can you imagine the amount of damage that it would casue? The Crusades are a very good example of religion using doctraine as an excuse to eliminate opposition. Do you know how many children those Holy Knights killed? Do you know how many women they raped? Does it sound all that ‘Holy’ when they do all of that? The European Witch Trials are also a good example of it. More than 10,000 innocent women were falsely accused and burnt alive because the Church deems them witches. That is exactly why religion should not be given political power. It most often leads to disaster.
Anime lover I have no idea why this is a troupe the churches being evil just doesn’t make any sense but it’s fine since I am still holding on to one day finding a story that discards this type of story line so it’s dine
