I like this realistic thinking. True, his mother did wrong and he had the decency to listen to the old guy’s anger. But that doesn’t change the fact that he is not his mother and he didn’t have to make up for whatever ‘sins’ his mother did, realistically. He was 3.

I am getting tired of the cliche of getting sick over a little water getting splashed on someone, I can understand if they fell into cold water and was completely soaked but just a bucket of water you don’t start sneezing 🤧 that quickly, shivering maybe, but otherwise it just feels like they are trying to push the delicate little flower path to make a damsel in distress scenario.
