Spoiler alert: No she didn’t cheat there was a five year time skip. she is the one who filed & received a divorce from her ex husband. Her ex husband who still wants her back. However she doesn’t want him back. She cut off all communication with her ex. Which is why he comes to her job to see her. Which irritates her ex mother in law.
