ah I’m so angry with this. She can just sleep with anyone right now out of desperation of her situation. =_= will drop this.

I’ll say it now; yes, you have every right to be angry at the FL and her choices, and you have every right to be angry at some of the characters around her, and I have no reason to convince you otherwise since I too am angry. This is my current analysis of what’s going on with the characters, mainly the FL because she is raising my blood pressure.
FL is flawed just like everyone else in the story, she’s not a Mary Sue. In the beginning, there was sexual exploitation, notably, thanks to her abuse of authority. She started as a bit of a spoiled, entitled woman because it shows the status difference and the power imbalance. That’s something that she picked up from her father as stated in the previous chapter. Of course, this DOES NOT EXCUSE her actions. She experienced suffering from her father, brother, and her complicit mother. Since she is a woman to be married off, she has expectations placed onto her which she wishes to remove but can’t since no one is necessarily listening to her wants besides Dean. From then on, the two are forced to adapt to the world around them (the attempt to run away unlogically, the party, the count revealing the truth, attempt #2 at running away, and then her father’s death). It’s within these events that both Dean and Sarah grow as people, leading them to make the choices that they did. Of course, there will still be angering events and people that will make the characters change more, but that’s my current analysis as of now.
