After reading my comment again it really seemed I was yelling lol , but I was very chill
Honey it’s not cool for someone who used to find us “disgusting” as you call it to mention us ( they don’t, they’re just ignorant about our matters ) , it’s wrong to be happy because they gave us a glance , this mentality is wrong
But at the end I wasn’t complaining about them mentioning us specifically , I was complaining about the lack of efforts they keep showing in understanding us AND insisting to be at fault again and again , they just want korean popularity and work to reach us but never put the effort
It is a clear message against us when they portray muslims, especially muslim girls to be oppressed and unhappy and forced to cover , which is an image that we always nonstop try to explain and soften in the eye of non Muslims, so it’s a sensitive topic to put it like that in any work either movie, drama or even manhwa watched by ALOT , you can’t portray us in a way we REFUSE to be portrayed as
