That’s literally the whole point of most stories: characters gaining something, then deciding how to use it. Sure, you’d prefer the MC to be the all-powerful chosen one who does everything without a single string attached, but let’s be real, that’s not how stories work. And the King’s involvement? It’s called plot, not some pointless side note. Maybe you should try watching something that doesn’t have layers if this is stressing you out so much.
Now, Stupidauthorwithbraindead, you’re mad about an MC’s harem, but seriously, you’re acting like this is a personal attack on your dignity. A character having a harem doesn’t automatically mean their existence revolves around fulfilling your moral code.
