He unionized the merchants under his authority in this entire province it seems. It’s sad he lost his entire family but he seems to have a good life now.
He has money and a home and the respect of the people (somewhat). Even if they thought he was fat, nobody there openly messed with him and had to be careful around him.
I know it’s a murim manhwa, but he’s a fool to give up his wealth just to roll around in the dirt. (Yes, I know these fighters are not literally doing that. This is a metaphor.)
