@Mellisa The novel has like 3200 chapters or something. The nature of making money on these kinds of scheduled releases means there’s zero incentive for them to conclude the story in a timely manner. It’s just endless mini-resolutions in which a new bad guy is brought forward to feed the next mini resolution, on repeat forever. Makes for a bad story after awhile, but good money.
The Demonic Guy will probably get handled soon, but some other random threat from nowhere will pop up at the same time.
