they wanted to gain something from heinrey and lost the fight. like you mean they didn’t consider consequences when they made decisions to challenge his authority? they looked down on heinrey too much and now the whole family is just sore losers at this point
Unless they change things, there’s still 2 important characters to be introduced in the main story and their own plots(?) to go with them (though 1 of them might count as a subplot? Maybe?). So we’re not exactly near the end, sorry guys lol
Plus if they decide to also adapt the side stories, of which there are several, we still have a ways to go. Depending on how many breaks they have and how long, we should still have about a year to maybe 2 years of story, at least.
(Though, it has been a while since I read the novel, so if anyone with a fresher memory of the novel wants to correct me, please do so 👍)
Heinley is the strangest of all the characters: really dangerous, cunning and cruel, but with Navier, he became gentler. Not because she tried to change him. Just because she’s there, accepting his dark side, and loving him. I can’t imagine waht kind of king he could have been without her around him.
Na Christa had no right attacking Navier, she could have been peaceful, SHE HAD THE CHANCE, but she kept making excuses for why she needed to push Naviar down. He’s not the bad guy, he’s protecting his wife Naviar. It sounds bad but he needs to be cruel or his enemies will think they can attack Naviar to threaten him. It’s not like he doesn’t listen to Naviar’s instructions. Look he gave the magic back to that girl. As long as he doesn’t lie to Naviar and is honest to her and follows her will, he’s a good guy. It’s the bad guys that do bad things and then they plead for mercy.
How did that attacker even die during that whole fiasco….and how exactly did Navier get injured in the process, all i saw was a piece of cloth falling on her🤔
