For those of you wondering, the first woman is the reason Sovieshu hates Elgy.
That first woman is the former mistress (concubine technically) of the now deceased former emperor of the Eastern Empire (Sovieshu’s father). She is the “Lady Alicia” mentioned in the story before.
One time she was prominently mentioned was when Rashta went to Duchess Tuania’s (now going by just Nian) tea party. Duke Elgy mentions “Lady Alicia” the former mistress of Sovieshu’s father.
She is mentioned another time in a fight between Sovieshu and Navier, in which Navier asks something like, “Did Lady Alicia ever attend a party the empress was at?” The answer is no. Unlike Rashta, Alicia did not appear at parties where Sovieshu’s mother was present. It was just bad manners. Rashta is the idiot who didn’t know better.
The last time Alicia was mentioned was when Elgy used her name to escape the Eastern Empire. Elegy said he did it to Sovieshu because of Alicia.
Some background: Alicia was kicked out of the Eastern Empire because she was accused of “poisoning” the crown prince, which was Sovieshu at the time. However, she didn’t actually do that.
Sovieshu found some cookies and shared them with Navier. They were “fertility reducing” cookies. The former empress (Sovieshu’s mother) left them for Alicia, but Sovieshu saw the cookies and took it with him. When Sovieshu was asked who gave him the cookies, not wanting to get his mother in trouble he answered that Alicia did it. She was stripped of her concubine status and sent back to her family, where they publicly stated that she died.
However, she simply left the Eastern Empire and settled in Blue Boheme. There she met a high-ranking noble and got her claws into him. That noble was Elgy’s father, technically also Duke Elgy. She split up Duke Elgy and his wife (the second blonde woman). Because of this, Elgy had a difficult childhood. And he blames Sovieshu for this. Because Elgy believes that because of Sovieshu’s lie Alicia was sent away and hurt somebody else’s family (his).

Are they twins? His mom looks so beautiful. I guess soveshit did something to make her a cripple. Maybe it was a mistake or something.
