to answer @Manarito, he used mole ratio to simplify it. I haven’t done chem in a long while but lemme try to explain
Initial ratio- 9:1
180: 20
90:10 (basically divide by 2)
90 = 0.75 (100+x)
90= 75+0.75x
0.75x =15
x=20
Why not 9:1?
because for part 2, this is how the ratio is-
75:25
3:1
This brings to the total proportion for part 1 and part 2, in order to get a whole number as an output. 9:1 adds up to 10 portions while 3:1 adds up to 4. In order to have the same proportions, we gotta use 90:10 and 75:25.
