Like I said last chapter, and will reiterate here: Sasha is not the culprit of what happened to her, he simply feels responsible because of the parties involved in the betrayal.
Ooh that makes sense @denpunsi! If that’s what actually happened or something similar I really doubt Luce will blame him in the end but she will most definitely be pissed at him for lying to her their entire friendship 🙄
The pace still too slow
No matter how the events should be explained to the reader that much it’s emotional overdose.. hearing the monologue is just giving a plain reaction I can’t find myself understanding if the author wants the reader to feel pitty and sad for the characters or confusing on how the events is related to the crown prince and his brother or hating their negatives thoughts..
The balance her is hocked off place
Just make simple monologue directly to the point without exaggerating the feelings too much
The characters started to sound naive and hopless or even without a benefit.. there’s no problems to have an innocent characters with some tragic background story .. the problem is when you are using the same method over and over reminding them of there mistakes, weaknesses or even pessimistic in long conversation without letting them having a glimpse of hope and see .. after a long waiting chapters you decided to give a try now.. that’s why long monologues is not favour
Just give the vanilla extract experience and let the events go smoothly to where it goes
I think he said something in his sadness wishing that the wedding was stopped somehow, or venting about it and someone (either the crown prince who seems to know him or his aide or something) took i seriously and ruined her wedding.
