1. The father accidentally killed the sister directly.
2. His actions indirectly lead to her death, though he didn’t think that would happen.
3. Someone else actually caused the death, but the dad was involved and was used as a scapegoat.
Either way, the ML is a dumba$$ for trying to use the man’s daughter to get revenge. He ends up being no better, even worse than the person who caused his sister’s death. He knows she had nothing to do with it and she herself had a horrible childhood. This is one story where I hope the FL does not end up with the ML.
