@hwaster, he’s not her babysitter or guardian that’s not his job. I’m really not ready to write a long ass paragraph so I’ll try to say this shortly he wasn’t the one who hurt her also if he was always helping her she would never be independent (also the whole plot or the story is for them to hate each other then fall in love so obviously without him not helping her we wouldn’t be having these chapters )and then people like you will come in the comments and start calling her weak I honestly don’t care if you give this manhwa some hate even insult the FL but leave the ML out of your mouth😊

I think his main priority right now is to make Selena realize her worth. She found herself hopeless and incompetent, and that’s the biggest obstacle that she’s facing. Maybe what Izer meant was that he didn’t have the time to help bring someone “useless” up on their feet as Serenity was facing loss. That was the reason he came into the family in the first place anyways, to help Serenity. The dismissal of the 8 families contract signing was probably his way to know if she has grown or not. I don’t think Izer is in the wrong, or perhaps he has another motive?
