eizer wants divorce to save serenity. As the plot says Eizer is the current head of Serenity. Eizer destroyed his brother’s buisness because he was already aware about many political things about his own greyeson family.
Now when his brother knows that Eizer is leading Serenity, he wants to take advantage of this situation. He will gather lawyers and frame Eizer for interfering with Greyeson family.. and this way Eizer’s brother will take over Serenity. Eizer knows that this would happen that’s why he’s divorcing Serena so even after his brother’s file a report against Eizer, Serenity won’t be affected.
