Which make Fl the mother in law of Princess.
Princess has an older Brother which is the First Princes, Both were born from the first Empress.
Current Emperor is the child of the second Empress.
This makes the Current Emperor the half-sibling of both Princess and First Prince.

Guys for this to make sense, the translation isn’t wrong but the title is written wrong the correct way title is “although I am a mother in law I don’t want conflict” basically the women she’s taking to is her daughter in law, she is half sibling with the emperor I think and her husband the duke the died has one son and yes ik the son and his wife look so similar I thought they were siblings too 💀

Yeah, I read again this chapter and it is a complete mess. I thought first it was a bad translation but it seems not.
How can the Layton sibling be in the same time the emperor/first empress children while being the duke’s children.
Even if an emperor can hold a second title like duke, his primary status until the end is emperor. Yet he is introduced as a duke from the beginning, such as his familly. If they truly are the new emperor half-siblings, it means they are price/princess above all, and should have grown up at the palace, not the duchy.
