@sharpknot while in today’s society that might be true however that is the world that kid lives in. He uses his power to do whatever he wants so first you start by using his own reasoning against him. After you’ve shown him it’s wrong then you can educate. If you start with the new education he won’t respect you if you don’t first make him see that he’s not the king of the castle.

That might sound good, but you won’t be teaching the child to be respectful to others. You’d be teaching him that as long as you have power towards another person, you can do whatever you want to them.

Good thing mine’s a daughter.
My nephew’s also a brat before, he easily breaks things and for some reason fights the wall for no reason and you can’t just spank them (I ain’t his mom, but I watched him previously) .
Luckily he has his sports and online games to burn all the energy, he has calmed down because my brother won’t always buy him a keyboard replacement and he doesn’t like the stick end of the broom.
