The Queen is genuinely an ignorant idiot. The only logical reason is she doesn’t know what her son has been up to all these years, torturing servants for his sadistic pleasure; and if that’s so, it means she is extremely neglectful even from royalty standards. Especially because she’s the bloody Queen?!?! How can THE most powerful woman in the entire kingdom, not know the extent of what is going on with her children inside the palace?

I think so too only because I understand she is in a difficult situation since she birthed both children but that’s why you have to get to know your children clearly the brother is the one in the wrong he has tried multiple evil deeds to secure the throne while she has not once tried anything evil to pure the same accomplishment…. She should definitely be her daughter’s emotional support they are not equals when one is clearly in poor character
