Wait, I thought the grand duke had no territory. That’s what the early chapters said. He was a grand duke in name only because his grandfather was the illegitimate child of the emperor. The grand duke never had any lands that “belonged” to him, which is why he was always poor and why he decided to approach MC (for her money).
I’m just going to chalk it up to translation error. But ruling over a territory and belonging to a territory are two different things.
