Honestly, I’m confused about why the parents would be upset. You think that being able to sell off a dying, worthless daughter and become relatives of a Duke with all the status and money that we bring would be something they would totally be into. Also, it’s official that sister has a weird sister complex just like all those creepy brothers and stories that lock up the sisters and have borderline romantic interest in them
Honestly because of so many like terminally ill stories that I read cuz I love that genre. A am honestly so happy that we finally have one where they start off the relationship with her telling the man that she’s going to die. That way it can progress faster and smoother and also has that rapid fear of losing their loved ones in the background
