@enig121598 Exactly I’ve been saying all along. Even though he’s an a-hole, his up bringing was horrible and that just worsened his personality. He might not have become that much of an a-hole, if he had someone who truly loved him when he was innocent child. He was molded this way by these adults around him.
I feel like if Cesare had at least ONE decent parent/guardian/role model to look up to, he wouldn’t have ended up the way he did.
His mother would constantly scream into his ear about money and power.
His father didn’t even want to be seen with him in a public space and verbally abused him when Cesare even asked for a bit more attention.
Even the queen was a hypocrite to him. She only bothered to show Cesare the tiniest bit of kindness only until Alphonso was bore and she also started to ignore him.
