Cesare hasn’t done anything bad yet in this timeline. I think he’s the true ML with a redemption arc. I am hoping that he’ll get a glimpse of her true past and see how horribly he treated her. I think the real villain is the prince. He may seem nice but I think he might be worse than Cesare. He’s unwilling to commit to her but he’s overpossessive and jealous. I also think something happened in the past timeline that caused Cesare to act like that, maybe someone manipulated him like his mom or Ariadne’s sister or something but from what I can tell Cesare is a better person right now at least than alfonso.
