I mean, if she firmly and truly said no to him, he would respect her wishes and annul the engagement in a hearbeat. He is constantly pushing her because he wants her to realize her own feelings.
He’s personality is a mix of his goofy dad and the eccentric genius that he is… He loves her, knows she’s hyperaware him too and is on a mission to push her into admitting it… Can’t wait for her to realize it herself or they’ll wait forever with her personality the way it is
